Fountainebleau students belong to the Mandeville School district that feeds into Mandeville High School. For public elementary schools, parents send their kids off to National Blue Ribbon School, Pontchartrain Elementary, for k-3rd grade. Tchefuncte Middle School, which is attached to Pontchartrain Elementary,  is for students in 4th-6th grade. Mandeville Jr. High, in Old Mandeville, is for 7th-8th grade.
